The terms, in plain language.

Community Archives imports conversation history from WhatsApp or Slack and turns it into a private, searchable web archive for your community.

You're responsible for your account, for keeping access to it secure, and for the admins you invite. Members enter through the identity they already use with your community — no new passwords to manage on their side.

Each archive starts with a 7-day free trial. After the trial, a paid subscription is required to keep the archive live. Billing is handled by Stripe, and you won't be charged during the trial.

• Only archive communities you administer or have permission to archive.
• Don't use the service to scrape or archive communities you don't run.
• Comply with WhatsApp's and Slack's own terms when you connect a source.
• Don't use the archive to harass members or to republish private content outside its intended access level.

Your community's content stays yours. Community Archives stores and organizes it to provide the archive; it does not claim ownership of your messages, files, or media.

You can cancel anytime. On cancellation, your archive is deleted on request. To cancel, delete data, or request a copy, email support@community-archives.com.

Community Archives is provided “as is.” We work hard to keep imports accurate and the archive available, but we can't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits rights you can't waive under applicable law.

We may update these terms as the product grows. If we make a material change, we'll note it here and update the date below. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
